Stay Afloat

The Midwest was hammered with yet another snow storm recently. And with winter weather on everyone’s mind, it’s hard to believe that it's officially spring.

As the snow melts and temperatures rise, flooding becomes a major issue in many parts of the country. According to FEMA, floods are one of the most common and expensive natural disasters. All it takes is a few inches of water to cause thousands of dollars of damage. So what can you do to protect yourself, your family and your business? Check out Agility Recovery's Flood Preparedness Checklist and Ready.Gov's Flood Awareness page.

no spring skips its turn.

Idealogical HelpDesk Requests

Idealogical monitors and responds to requests submitted by phone, emailed to helpdesk@idealogical.com or submitted through our client portal at https://helpdesk.idealogical.com/support during our business hours of 8am – 5pm Monday to Friday.

For urgent requests for assistance outside our regular helpdesk hours please note that we have an after hours call service available 24/7 to take a message. All messages received by the after hours call service are passed along to the on call service manager, who receives a phone call. A process is in place where the call service will work down a list of contacts including Idealogical managers if for any reason the on call technician does not respond to the call, so the message is guaranteed to be received. An internal ticket is also created with the message details on our helpdesk service board. This process ensures that a technician will call you back to address your issue.

This evaluation should be done with an eye on present and anticipated computing and power requirements, as well as the number of existing and future users.

Tune Up Your Telephone Skills
by Debra J. Schmidt

How do you sound to your customers and co-workers? First impressions are lasting impressions. That's why every telephone conversation counts. The impression you make on your co-workers and customers is based on your tone of voice, energy and attitude.

Because so many workplace transactions are conducted solely by telephone, it is extremely important to have an awareness of how you sound during these conversations. This is just the first step in improving your telephone skills. When you know what to listen for, you can identify and correct verbal habits or mannerisms that may create barriers between you and your customers.
