Mission Statement
Andre Vittorio, President

Andre has been at the helm of Idealogical since our inception, and has nurtured, developed and steadily grown the organization from its roots as a part-time small business to a full-time enterprise. His knowledge and experience in the Information Technology industry has made him a trusted resource, and a valued partner, in the strategic planning, systems integration and technological needs of many small to medium sized businesses in Southern Ontario.

In addition to his numerous industry Technical Certifications and accreditations, Andre studied Computer Science and History at the University of Toronto, and doesn’t miss an opportunity to further pursue his education in business and technology. Much of Andre’s technical training was accomplished while working for IBM, and later for Cadillac Fairview where he headed several technology projects in the area of Information Systems.

When not looking after the business, Andre is an avid and accomplished photographer, and loves travelling to different parts of the globe. He has an impressive portfolio of his own photographed images from several cities around the world.

Wayne Westernacher-Schneider, Director of Operations

Wayne has been an integral part of the Idealogical management team since joining the company in 1997, and served as our former Director of Technical Services. In 2008, Wayne’s dedication and commitment was further recognized when he was elevated to the position of Director of Operations. He holds an undergraduate degree in Economics from York University and has over eleven years experience in the IT industry. Wayne's responsibilities include project management, client support, and network development and management.

Wayne is a commissioned Captain in the Canadian Armed Forces and is the former Commanding Officer of 778 Banshee Royal Canadian Air Cadet Squadron based in Richmond Hill, Ontario. In addition to a life-long love of flying and self-avowed “adventure seeker”, Wayne loves spending as much time as possible with his wife and new baby daughter.

Pierre Mitham, Director of Technical Services

Pierre is a graduate of the prestigious University of Toronto Economics program, and upon leaving his studies became an integral part of the Royal Bank Smart Card technology pilot project in 1997. After a successful launch, Pierre was recruited by Performancesoft and spent eleven years creating and effectively building one of the best support groups in the industry. Part of his responsibilities, which have served him well as an Idealogical manager, included coordinating “bug” tracking, initiating and implementing new feature requests, manual and scripted software Q.A.

Having joined Idealogical in the summer of 2008, Pierre brings twelve years of high-quality experience in project management, client support and network development and management to our company.

In his spare time, Pierre leads an active and healthy lifestyle with his family, which includes mountain biking, snowboarding and even training for long-distance running events.

Delia Folino, Director of Finance

An integral part of the Idealogical team and one of our longest serving team members, Delia brings over ten years of expertise and a wealth of experience to our company as both a manager and an advisor. Delia joined Ideaogical’s staff in 2002 after perfecting her business acumen working for small and large corporations alike, as well as effectively running her own successful small business. In addition to her responsibilities as our chief financial officer, Delia is also our resident Quickbooks specialist and her advice and recommendations are an invaluable asset to our customers.

Delia graduated from Ryerson University with a degree in Commerce, specializing in Accounting and Finance. When away from the office, Delia enjoys practicing Yoga and loves to play the piano.

Denise Baxendale, Resource Coordinator

Lifelong Barrie, Ontario resident Denise Baxendale joined the Idealogical team in May 2008. Denise enrolled and obtained an education as a computer program analyst from Georgian College in Barrie. Prior to life as a dedicated and focused Resource Coordinator for Idealogical, Denise was a trained chef, having obtained an education in culinary arts.

Denise is responsible for all the purchasing for both Idealogical and our customers. As a Project Coordinator, her duties include recommending hardware and software packages for clients, defining and implementing a standard system configuration and being the main liaison between Idealogical and our various business partners and vendors. She also is responsible for the registration, management, and renewal of client websites.

During her free hours, Denise spends time outdoors with her family, hiking in the spring or summer and skiing in the winter months. She also has discovered a love for curling, and even though isn’t currently engaged as a professional chef, she still counts cooking as “a passion.

Darren Hogan, Technical Team Leader

Darren made the move to the “Big City” from his native North Bay, Ontario, in August 2007, and started with Idealogical a short time afterwards. His dedication to customer service and helping our clients with their technical support opportunities helped Darren move very quickly into his current role as a Technical Team Leader with our company. His responsibilities include deploying, managing, monitoring and managing client infrastructures.

He is a graduate of the Computer Networking Technology program at Canadore College (2007), and currently holds Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer (MCSE) status in Messaging and Exchange Server.

Manchester United Football Club is one of Darren’s biggest sporting passions, and he is a dedicated follower of European soccer in general. He is also a self-described “avid traveler” and enjoys a variety of outdoor sports and activities.

Thierry Nihill, Director of Sales and Marketing

After spending the first twenty years of his professional life in front of a camera and on the musical theatre stage, Thierry decided one morning it was “high time to get a real job” and ventured into the Information Technology field in the late 1990’s as a professional copywriter and marketing specialist. He spent several years working in the large computer distribution industry before becoming one of only five Partner Relations and Marketing Directors working in the tiny but fiercely competitive automated sales management software industry for an eBay and Amazon business partner in Toronto. Thierry took over the newly-created Sales and Marketing portfolio for Idealogical in late 2008.

From time to time, he is still a performer who “lives and breathes musical theatre and opera” and is a huge sports fan. He also has a love of traveling – by trains – throughout Canada and the United States.

Richard Roemer, Technical Support Consultant

Richard became a part of the Idealogical technical support team in mid-2008. He was trained as a Computer Science Engineer at the University of Paderborn in his native Germany, and has accumulated over ten years of experience working in Information Technology. Richard brings an enormous amount of international expertise and hands-on experience to Idealogical, having spent many years as an IT Consultant in Europe. As a Microsoft Certified Professional, he is responsible for many Help Desk duties and is one of our most adroit and capable agents in configuring our customer’s server and workstation solutions.

In his spare time, Richard is an avid follower of “football, the European kind”, and enjoys embarking on various destinations as a traveler. He is also known to enjoy a “good, long and relaxing run.”

Ada Wan, Business Analyst

Ada brings a wealth of small business experience to the Idealogical team, having spent over 9 years working closely with several large financial institutions (in small business lending and credit), including chartered banks and Industry Canada. She has consulted with small businesses, providing advice on finance, credit, and operations to many new and flourishing enterprises.

With a deep understanding and appreciation for the unique business and technological needs of today's small business, Ada is instrumental in providing our clients the understanding of just what it takes to manage all aspects of their operations, especially when considering the speed of today's business technology. Ada's personable approach to addressing the business needs of each client, from an applications standpoint, is the perfect complement to Idealogical's technical expertise when assessing and implementing a client's technological needs.

Brought into the Idealogical fold early in 2008 to provide the vital link between a client's day to day business operations and their technology needs, Ada has a unique appreciation for the importance and the many challenges of integrating traditional business practices with modern technology.

In her free time, Ada enjoys dancing Salsa and Argentine Tango and teaches the Argentine Tango occasionally. Whenever possible, she likes to travel and has a love of meeting new people and learning new languages.

Kelvin Flook, Automated Systems Administrator

Kelvin has been a part of the Idealogical team since 1998 and now has several years of computing experience, to go along with a “light-hearted personality”, to offer our clients. Professional to a fault, Kelvin has built a reputation as an engaging and personable technician – an attribute Idealogical customers have come to appreciate and enjoy.

With many technical certifications under his belt, Kelvin assists Idealogical in performing remote tasks and helping clients with any support issues. His other duties include ensuring that automated functions are working correctly at the client site to ensure zero downtime. In his spare time he enjoys Paragliding as well as the outdoors. He has successfully operated several small businesses and is well versed in the various concerns and needs of the small business owner.

Alwyn Pereira, Helpdesk Technician

In mid 2008, Idealogical welcomed Alwyn Pereira as a new Help Desk technician. He has brought several years of experience and expertise of end user support to Idealogical, and has a warm and engaging personality that showcases his enthusiasm for helping others. He is a gifted communicator and an excellent problem solver in his role providing top-notch technical support to our clientele day in and day out. Alwyn brings a wealth of PC help desk experience to Idealogical, and he’s equally capable and knowledgeable supporting Mac systems – a definite and unique advantage to all our customers.

Alwyn spends as much of his free time as he can with family and friends, and loves spending time away from the hustle and bustle of the city in cottage country. He is also an avowed sports fanatic and “never misses a chance to watch the highlights.”

Heather Forde, Help Desk Coordinator

Heather Forde is the voice and the “front line” of communication and Help Desk service for our clients. After an educational background in psychology and social sciences, she decided to make a career change and entered into the world of Information Technology in early 2008.

The Idealogical Help Desk responds to our clients via e-mail, evaluates, and prioritizes incoming telephone requests for assistance from users experiencing problems with hardware, software, networking, and other computer-related technologies. Heather has developed and maintained relationships with our network users, and forged a strong bond with our technical staff in order to effectively communicate the status of any reported issue. Heather is responsible for ensuring that all phases of Help Desk support are properly coordinated, monitored, logged, tracked, and resolved appropriately.

Heather coordinates the scheduling for all Idealogical technicians and works closely with the entire Idealogical team in order to help guarantee our customers the kind of service they have come to expect. Heather also is responsible for service reviews, certain internal special projects and the management of our detailed client information database. Her excellent customer service skills and the ability to communicate effectively with non-technical users are critical to her success in this position.

Heather enjoys a number of pastimes including soccer (in which she was a former dedicated player), loves being a mom, and lives a "blessed life" with her husband and daughter.
